Marion is a Multimedia Journalist  pursuing a master’s at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.  She has a keen interest in Investigative and Business Reporting working with the Berkeley Investigative Reporting Program, Bloomberg News and Richmond Confidential. 

She is the co-founder and CEO of Debunk Media Initiative, Uganda’s first fact-checking media organization, dedicated to news verification and countering misinformation.  She is passionate about amplifying stories through social media, while engaging wider audiences with impactful narratives. 

Marion also founded Girls Alive Uganda, a nonprofit empowering rural girls with menstrual hygiene education and pad-making skills to combat school absenteeism.
